Muna Jondy is an immigration attorney practicing in Flint, MI, and is a cooperating attorney with the ACLU of Michigan for over 15 years. She was appointed in 2019 to the Michigan Women’s Commission as chairwoman, and is currently serving her second term as a commissioner. She also serves as an advisory board member for Americans for a Free Syria, a nonprofit that advocates for democracy, freedom and human rights for the Syrian people, and in that capacity was appointed to the constitutional drafting committee for Syria by the United Nations. Her career and volunteering has always been focused on civil and human rights. Jondy obtained her B.A. from the University of Michigan, J.D. from the University of Manitoba (Canada), and her LLM from Michigan State University, College of Law.
