Join AANM for a librarian-led community discussion of Jhumpa Lahiri's The Namesake. Lahiri's novel, the city of Dearborn's 2018 Big Read, explores themes of identity and cultural assimilation.
This event is part of a community program taking place throughout the city and organized by the Dearborn Public Library. Free copies of the novel in English and Arabic will be available to the public at the Big Read Kickoff being held at Dearborn's Ford Community & Performing Arts Center on Sunday, March 18.
