The Arab American National Museum (AANM) Gala is the signature annual celebration of AANM’s singular role as the first and only museum to tell the Arab American story. This exclusive event, which historically funds 30% of AANM’s education programming, unites the community in support of AANM. First presented in 2004, prior to the opening of the Museum, this extraordinary program is produced by the Friends of AANM Committee.
Please join us this year for a sumptuous Masquerade Ball in Detroit’s premier luxury hotel, the historic Westin Book Cadillac. Build in 1924, the restoration of the Book Cadillac’s ornate Italian Renaissance design was completed in 2008 after a quarter century of vacancy. The Gala salutes a resurgent Detroit and its vibrant Arab American community with a fete of unparalleled elegance, featuring excellence in dining and entertainment.
Dress code is black tie and mask optional; cultural and creative attire welcomed.
