The Padzieski Gallery’s “100 X 50” fundraiser begins with an opening reception “First Look and Kick Off Party,” on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. One-hundred area artists, including Mohamad Bazzi, Jerry Vile, Melanie Manos, Kevin Castile, Windy Weber, Joseph Marks and Ash Nowak, have donated 10-inch square works of art priced at $50 each (or more), for this special fall fundraiser for gallery upgrades.
Your $5 ticket gets you a 20 percent discount on art purchases at the opening, a silent auction, food, drinks, prizes and live entertainment. The show also includes a retrospective “Wall of History of The Padzieski Art Gallery.” “100 X 50” opens to the public inside the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn on Sept. 12 and ends Sept. 26.
