It’s an Arab American Heritage Month celebration! Thoom is a producer/DJ from Beirut now based in Chicago. Her cinematic sound combines elements of Arabic musical composition and rhythm with industrial sonics. Thoom’s work is inspired by the construction and deconstruction of a post-war Beirut and fictional storytelling. Her debut EP, Blood and Sand, was released in 2017 on the Club Chai label. Opening for Thoom are the dynamic DJ Tammy Lakkis and the entrancing DJ Habibti. This event will be standing-room only. Disabled seating available upon request.v
