More than forty ACCESS Youth and Education students from several area high schools celebrated the completion of the JIRAN Youth Dialogue program on Saturday, June 6 at the ACCESS Main Youth and Family Services Center with a lively lunch and award ceremony.
The multicultural, multiracial group works to address the impact of negative ethnic stereotypes and share ways that young people can positively influence their communities.
A coalition of organizations, including the Developing K.I.D.S. , Welcoming Michigan and the Urban Neighborhood Association. made the wonderful luncheon ceremony possible.
