Detroit Children's Choir to perform at ACCESS 46th Annual Dinner

We are thrilled to announce that the Detroit Children’s Choir (DCC), will be joining us at the ACCESS 46th Annual Dinner! In celebration of 46 years of service to our communities, we couldn’t be more pleased to be joined by an organization that harnesses the power of music education to empower and unite children of diverse backgrounds from throughout Southeast Michigan.

This year, our Dinner entertainment will embody ACCESS’ commitment to the revitalization of the city of Detroit and the empowerment of our youth. Founded in 2006 by Carol Schoch, DCC has leveraged the power and discipline of choral singing to bring together students in the tri-county area to foster team building, creativity, and social interaction - a bridge toward greater understanding and connection. A wide and diverse array of high-profile performances have included more than 3,100 DCC participants to date, including major performances for the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Pistons, multiple engagements during Noel Night in Midtown and annual collaborations with the Detroit Youth Symphony and Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

The ACCESS 46th Annual Dinner will take place at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center on Saturday, April 22
at 6:00 pm.

ACCESS is excited to host a number of VIPs at this year's dinner, including the best-selling author and visionary global-finance leader Dr. Mohamed El-Erian along with the brilliant surgeon and celebrated champion of community health Dr. Rashid Abdu, both of whom will be recognized as our 2017 Arab Americans of the Year.
