ACCESS has remained committed to the empowerment of millions across the state of Michigan and the rest of the country. With more than 120 programs operating in Southeast Michigan, along with four esteemed national institutions, ACCESS honors our Arab American heritage while helping to change the world, one person at a time.
Although all our programs share that mission, one endeavor is especially urgent right now: the development of the ACCESS Recovery Center, a state-of-the-art substance use disorder treatment facility that will offer a unique, family-centered, holistic approach to treatment and recovery for Southeast Michigan. That’s why, for the second year in a row, all proceeds from our Annual Dinner will go toward raising the $25 million needed to make this center a reality.
The ACCESS Recovery Center stands alone in its ability to offer an entire range of services for people struggling with substance use disorder and their families in a Central location. The Center will provide prevention, inpatient detoxification, short-term residential care, comprehensive outpatient treatment, support groups, and peer counseling. It will also offer supportive social services such as food assistance, housing, education, employment, legal aid, transportation, and more.
