Muna Jondy is an immigration attorney practicing in Flint, MI, and her career and volunteering have always been focused on civil and human rights. Currently, she is a member and volunteer attorney with the National Lawyers Guild of Detroit and Michigan. She also serves as an advisory board member for Americans for a Free Syria, a nonprofit that advocates for democracy, freedom and human rights for the Syrian people, and in that capacity was appointed to the constitutional drafting committee for Syria by the United Nations. She was appointed in 2019 to the Michigan Women’s Commission, where she served two terms, one as chairwoman and the second term as a commissioner, ending in 2025. Jondy obtained her B.A. from the University of Michigan, J.D. from the University of Manitoba (Canada), and her LLM from Michigan State University, College of Law.
