One person’s trash is another person’s treasure. This couldn’t be more true than during garage sale season! Instead of tossing out the gently used but unwanted items you find while cleaning your cluttered closets, basements and garages this spring … donate them to the Center for Arab American Philanthropy’s (CAAP) Teen Grantmaking Initiative’s Third Annual Garage Sale.
Garage Sale dates: May 30 and 31 (Saturday and Sunday), from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Garage sale organizers are seeking furniture, electronics, bikes, etc. Clothing will not be accepted. Items can be dropped off at the ACCESS Main Office. If you have items that are too large in size or quantity to haul, Rachid Elabed will assist in picking them up. For questions, or to schedule a pick-up, please call Chelsea Liddy at 313-297-4265.
CAAP, a national program of ACCESS, is the only full-service Arab American philanthropic institution operating on a community foundation model in the country. CAAP's Teen Grantmaking Initiative (TGI) is composed of dynamic youth dedicated to bettering their community through grantmaking.
